Kinky Karaoke Death Dungeon is an interactive, immersive sound installation. Two star-crossed players are led through an evolving tarot reading, trying to decipher each other’s fates and yearnings. The players progress through the game using two microphones — whispering, humming, flirting, casting spells, lying — all while their voices are electronically modulated, mutating between gender expressions and monstrous identities. Finally, they draw from the deck in hopes of divining their entanglement. Within the game, players negotiate consent and are invited to experiment with their voices.
